What You Will Need for Your In-Person I9 Verification Appointment with a Notary Public:

• It is imperative that you read the I9 Verification Form prior to the Notaries arrival and prepare for your appointment by having the requested identification ready. It will not be the Notaries responsibility if you do not have proper identification for your appointment and your appointment will be non-refundable. 

• The Notary will need to physically inspect your identification, meaning they will need to originals. If the receiving party of your order (your employer) request copies of your identification be sent back with your form this will be your responsibility to make color copies prior to your appointment and request the Notary initial them. 

• You should be respectful of the Notaries time for the appointment for your I9 Verification and be on time. Please note that we only grant a 15-minute waiting period once the Notary arrives if you are not prepared. If the Notary cancels the appointment, it is non-refundable.
